Parks & Recreation

Grand Meadow is home to three distinct parks:

City Park
City Park offers a basketball court, two sand volleyball courts, swings and a slide.  City Park also provides a wonderful pavilion to host a family picnic or provide shelter on sunny summer days.

Veteran's Memorial Park:
Veteran's Park is nestled within the center of town.  It plays host to an array of jungle gym equipment for the kids and swing sets.  Don't forget to pack your picnic basket when attending this park, there are plenty of shelters with tables to play host to snack time. While you are there wonder around the park to read about the history or Veteran's Park or sit on one of the many donated benches as tribute to those who have served the community.  Please note this park does offer restroom facilities.

Pine Lawn:
Pine Lawn Park, situated on Hwy 16 east of Grand Meadow, has two locations. One on the North side and the South side of the creek that runs through the park. There is camping on both sides, at a cost of $30/night for campers and $10/night for tents. There is electricity but no water hook ups. On the South side there is a nice pavilion for picnics and restrooms. On the North side there is a very nice playground equipment and restrooms. Many people like to fish and there is a few that will put in small boats.
